Budapest Circus Art and Contemporary Dance College (BCDC) 

Pre-Audition Course 2024/25

The Budapest Circus Arts and Contemporary Dance College is opening a Pre-Audition Course for the academic year of 2024/25 for those interested in Contemporary Dance BA and Circus Dance BA programs. The aim is to give participants an insight into how the BA courses work and to offer a chance to engage with the learning methods and practices  that are characteristic of the College. The intensive training program focuses on technical training, movement skills and creativity development. The dance classes are led by former students and current teachers who are nationally and internationally renowned performing artists and teachers.  The course is recommended for those who want to learn more about the two BA programs and receive orientation before applying for admission. 

In case of successful admission 10% of the amount paid for the course will be credited towards the tuition fees.

Teachers of the course: Blanka Flóra Csasznyi (AML- Shifting Roots), Kámea Farkas (House&Folk), Luca Kancsó (Contemporary Dance), Viola Lévai (Relesa technique), Viktória Nagy (Afro-Modern), Sándor Petrovics (Improvisation)

Location: Budapest Circus Arts and Contemporary Dance College, 1036 Budapest Perc utca 2.

Important details:
– Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays two dance classes, 18.00-19.30 and 19.45-21.15 (CET)
– Absence: a maximum of 15 dance classes is allowed throughout the course. Absences in excess of this number will result in the participant not being allowed to continue the course.

The Pre Audition Course is a full-year training course, which can be joined on a semester-by-semester basis.

Fee of the program: 300.000 HUF 

Please note: no refunds will be given.

The fee of the program should be paid within 5 working days of sending the application form.
Payment in installments is possible:
– First installment of 65% of the total fee within 5 working days of returning the application form.
– Second installment of 35 % of the total fee, up to the eighth week of the program.

HOW TO APPLY
1. return the completed application form
2. within 5 working days of returning the application form, payment of the full course fee or, in the case of payment by installments, the first installment.

Meeting us before applying

Before the course starts, we offer a free open session where anyone can attend two dance classes and meet the artistic leaders of the course and ask questions.
