Blended Teaching Group
For those students of the Budapest Circus Arts and Contemporary Dance College who participate in full-time education and who during their study period, as can be verified by contract, carry out artistic work or training activities in internationally recognized professional performing arts venues recognized by the College, with the rector’s permission, they have the option of an individual study schedule to continue in the form of “BLENDED TRAINING”, as follows.
In each year, the College creates an international “Blended Teaching Group”, whose members are students who are absent with the rector’s permission. The members of the “Blended Teaching Group” have a group leader who communicates in several languages, who keeps in touch with the absent students individually and in groups on a weekly basis and assigns and asks for academic assignments, specializing in individual, professional interest and circus genre. The Group Leader teacher pays particular attention to the educational training opportunities and the individual talents of the given student arising from his/her professional work in the international arena.
Members of the Blended Teaching Group can only take advantage of the opportunity provided by the training during the period of absence that can be confirmed by contract, in the other periods they continue their studies by joining the group of full-time students

Credit recognition
To complete the subjects included in the credit network, you must earn credits. There are several ways to do this: you complete the course material by attending classes or online, or you initiate a credit recognition procedure. Students who have been granted permission for an individual curriculum (blended) decide in consultation with their head of the year leader how they will complete the subject. If you initiate credit recognition, you must prove the existence of the knowledge acquired in some way.
We can count credits in two cases:
- you have previously studied this course material at another higher education institution and have completed credits from it. It is important that the topic of your subject corresponds to at least 75% of the topic of the subject you have taken. You must request a description of the description of the course material from the other College.
- it is also possible to have professional practice/experience recognized. In this case, read the course description of the subject you wish to have recognized and the detailed description of the documents to be submitted. (e.g. submitting a video, writing an essay, or writing a report).
An application must be submitted for the credit recognition procedure. Since there are subjects that are related, it may be the case that a summary or video you have prepared – if it meets the content criteria – covers several subjects. However, in all cases, a separate application must be submitted for each subject you wish to have recognized.
In the case of subjects, the credit recognition process is determined according to the specific regulations for each subject.
Admission
It is possible to apply for the training twice a year during the announced enrollment period.
Application steps:
- FELVI application (central application)
- Sending the college’s internal application form
On the basis of the materials received and the discussion online or in person, the admissions committee decides whether the applicant is suitable for the Blended teaching form, the knowledge and motivation reach the level required by Blended training.
Applying for Blended training does not mean automatic acceptance.
Tuition fees
The tuition fee for the Blended course is the same as the current self-cost price of the course, the amount of which can be found on the College’s website.
The amount of credit recognition depends on the value of credits to be credited.
Scholarship
Recognizing that a young person starting his college studies often does not or can only find it difficult to navigate between tuition fees, scholarships and various tuition support systems, the Budapest Circus Arts and Contemporary Dance College created an advisory office, which is for, among other things, future students and BCDC students provides personal advice.
