Boglárka Simon-Hatala

After graduating from Semmelweis University with an MSC in physiotherapy, she worked as a physiotherapist at the Hungarian National Ballet and as an instructor at the Hungarian Dance University, where she also designed the institution’s skill development and health prevention program. In 2008 she was contracted to Germany, where she designed the health promotion program for the Semperoper in Dresden and worked as a body awareness coach. In 2010 she obtained a Master’s degree in health sciences, and in 2020 she will start her PhD research in neuroscience. She has worked in prevention with many major contemporary and classical dance companies, and her clients include some of the world’s leading dance artists from the biggest companies.
Since 2018 she is a freelance dancer and lecturer at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main, the Oslo National Academy of Arts, a Technische Universität Dresden. Member of the ethics committee of the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science, Tanzmedicine Deutschland and Dachverband Tanz Deutschland, since 2022 ACC accredited coach of the International Coaching Federation. Her professional profile includes health prevention for performing artists, health, trauma, and ethical aspects of organizational development, representation of people with neurodiversity, and somatic, body awareness-based techniques of coaching and training.
Since 2021 she has been a regular lecturer at the Budapest Circus Arts and Contemporary Dance College.
