Master's Program in Teaching – Dance Teacher / Contemporary Dance Specialization (MA)
The two-year teacher training program prepares students for pedagogical work in the field of contemporary dance and other movement-based art forms. The main areas of the program are:
Teaching integrated, experience-based dance practice and theory
Teaching creativity development
Teaching the development of social skills
This two-year program is recommended for those with prior training and experience in performing arts, who are seeking to find their own pedagogical path through 100% intensive individual and group work.
Applicants will be invited for the entrance exam based on the institutional online questionnaire submitted before the deadline. The entrance exam will assess proficiency and experience in both traditional and innovative dance and performing arts techniques, as well as the physical, mental, and emotional suitability required for a successful teaching career. Knowledge of techniques, learning strategies, concentration ability, cultural horizon, and suitability for the teaching profession will be the focus of the evaluation.
Program Launch
We will launch our Dance Teacher program in the form of a mid-year intake the next intake will begin in September 2025.
Teacher candidates are eligible for a student ID, can apply for student loans, and can gain international experience through the support of the Erasmus program.
