YES. PLEASE. ART.
The evening is the first public appearance this year of the BA Contemporary Dance students of the Budapest Circus Arts and Contemporary Dance College. The presented works are the result of fresh encounters, ideas, and movements.
The program features independent pieces created by the students for each other, alongside performances choreographed by invited artists.
- 4 Spaces. 4 Actions (25’)
A “buffet-style” selection of various artistic approaches. The recurring scenes offer creative reflections on the possibilities of encounters, events, dance and playfulness. Each viewer assembles their own experience. Everyone has twenty-five minutes to view the four actions according to their personal strategies and decisions.
- I Close My Eyes “Collage” (12′)
We feel as we touch the intangible.
In our innocence, we dissolve,
Dream, explore, and remember all at once.
Solo dances, condensed and empty images, transitions, decreasing constraints, continuity, deconstruction, surface, dissolution, fragments, aesthetics, weak and strong, silence, memories, dreams, innocence.
Exploration across multiple styles, genres, and realms.

- The fishmongers club (15’)
– What’s going on with you? Nothing?
– Well, everything.- The fishmonger said. – I’ve been fishing for a few lines that run through me before I move, when I move and after I move. There’s plenty more thoughts in the deep oceans here, I hope you’ll take them quickly for good money. Now that’s all the doubt that’s hooked in my mind, we can fiddle with it and Pababam-bam, Pababam-bam.
