Eszter Petró

Ethologist. She studied at Eötvös Loránd University and completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Department of Ethology. Her doctoral research topic was social learning. In the meantime, she has been actively working in training family, therapy, and assistance dogs, becoming a habilitation dog trainer in 2009. Since 2019, she is also working as a coach, having obtained her qualification as a Master certified coach at the International Coach Federation. In 2019, she founded the Do as I Foundation, which, in addition to running animal-assisted programs, is also involved in training assistance and therapy dogs. From 2021, she will be the animal welfare officer of the Capital Circus of Budapest, where she is also involved in various circus education activities. She teaches at the Faculty of Psychology of the Károli Gáspár University at the Reformed Church in Hungary.
