Katalin Lőrinc DLA

teacher

After graduating from the Hungarian National Ballet Institute, she studied contemporary dance in Brussels and London, danced with the Cullberg Ballet in Stockholm, then with the Ballet Pécs and the Tanztheater Wien in Vienna, and became an international freelance dancer and teacher, settling in Budapest after the birth of her children.

She is active in dance training at secondary and higher levels, but her expertise also extends to primary education. She teaches methodological and didactic subjects in teacher training and improvisation, repertoire, and Graham technique in artistic training. She is a member of professional panels and research groups and, as a journalist, she publishes in numerous cultural forums. After many years of absence, she has returned to the stage, either at the request of independent artists or with her improvisation programs. With her students, she brings interactive and site-specific projects to different social settings.

She received her DLA from the University of Theatre and Film Arts in 2014.
