László Fülöp

Dance artist, choreographer. Since 2010 he is present in the Hungarian and international dance scene as a performer and creator. Since 2012 he has been working mainly with the Danish company Granhoj Dans Company, and in the meantime, he has created several pieces under the name Timothy and the Things. In 2015, his piece There’s an Elephant in Every Room… won the Rudolf Lábán Prize, and since then all his other pieces have been nominated for the same prize. In 2016, he won a Viktor Fülöp scholarship as a choreographer. In 2017, his work Your Mother at My Door, co-directed with Emese Cuhorka, was selected for the Aerowaves selection, a prestigious international network. As a creator, his main research interests are the analysis of different social and communication patterns, problems, and systems, and their capture through movement.
